Not for SaleHere is another small Rose painting, which I started some time ago and finally finished it today.
It is again on stretched watercolor canvas and size is 6"x6".
The Rose is one of David Austins Roses: Rose Golden Celebration.
The yellows were created with Indian Yellow for the warm areas and Aureolin for the cool areas.
For the very warm areas inside the Rose I did a mix of Indian Yellow, Translucent Orange and Scarlet Lake.
Some of the shadows were created with a touch of green, blue and red.
